Course Description

Learn how to decoupage a keep-sake box or tray and experiment with lino-cutting and printing. Create unique pieces of art for you or your family. Decoupage is a craft technique that involves cutting out pictures and applying them to an object before sealing it with varnish123. The word "decoupage" comes from the French verb découper, which means ‘to cut out’1. The process of decoupage involves gluing images to pretty much any surface you can think of, and then coating with a varnish3. Some people call decoupage “painting with paper”, because the images you glue onto the item truly can look like they were painted3. Please note we now require a £10.00 deposit which is refunded on completion of the course and on request. If this is a problem, please contact: learning@gcda.org.uk. Please bring your proof of ID & NI number to the first session of the course, as an enrolment form needs to be completed. Once you have registered you have agreed to our terms & conditions.
