Course Description
With more people concious about the health of their food, it's essential that food businesses can offer accurate information in a clear and accessible way in order to compete.
Working with food businesses over the years we have seen a gap in knowledge of how to nutritionally analyse meals and produce legally compliant labels.
This course has been written as a repsonse to that need and guides learners through these specific elements of setting up a successful food business.
With legally compliant and accurate labels, food businesses can maximise their business potential by widening their customer base.
By the end of the course, you'll be able to:
Understand the healthy eating guidelines and how these fit with the traffic light labels
Understand and practice how to nutritionally analyse menus and determine their traffic light label value
Demonstrate ways to make recipes healthier
Demonstrate legally compliant labels for your product
