Course Description

During this one-day course 10.30-4.00pm For new learners to GCDA • You'll be shown your way around a sewing machine. • Learn how to thread it and use it to make a simple fabric holder for a travel card or a pair of spectacles. • You'll also be introduced to some decorative hand sewing ideas so that you can patch your clothes in a creative and effective way. This course will be taught by Mary Jane Baxter, a craft writer and an expert when it comes to make-do-and-mend.
