Course Description
Growing your own food; there's nothing like it! But do you need some tips and hints on how to get the most from your seeds?
This course will introduce the main elements of Organic Food Growing - what it is and how to do it. It will involve active participation including practical elements that you will practise and be able to implement at home.
Learning will be supported after the course by email with appropriate links sent out to reinforce what has been covered. Material will be based around the Garden Organic resources.
By the end of the course, you'll be able to:
List the 5 pillars of organic gardening
Implement organic methods of weed and pest control
Demonstrate how to harvest crops and save seed
Appraise the benefits of no-dig gardening
