Course Description

Patchwork totebag The 5 week course will focus on using recycled fabric remnants in the making of a tote bag, whilst drawing on the history and techniques of Patchwork to inform your choices. You will be expected to know how to use a sewing machine and attend with a mixed bag of recycled fabric to use, your own fabric scissors and a basic sewing kit to use which should include pins and hand sewing needles. Please note we now require a £10.00 deposit which is refunded on completion of the course and on request. If this is a problem, please contact: learning@gcda.org.uk. Please bring your proof of ID & NI number to the first session of the course, as an enrolment form needs to be completed. Once you have registered you have agreed to our terms & conditions.
