Creative Skills

This year we’re delighted to be adding a brand-new range of courses to our Creative and Horticultural Skills programme.

Fancy finally finding out how to use your sewing machine? During our six-week essential sewing skills course, All Sewn Up, you’ll face your fears and learn the basics of both hand and machine sewing. You’ll be able to carry out simple repairs and alterations and create accessories for yourself and your home. Leave with increased confidence and all the skills necessary to take your new hobby to the next level.  We also run embroidery courses, patchwork, altering and mending clothes!

We have incredible art and craft courses and a creative writing course; so whatever your interest, we've got the class to help get those creative juices flowing!

GCDA has more than 15 years of experience running community food-growing and gardening projects in Greenwich, so we know how much pleasure people gain from planting and harvesting their own produce.
