It's all systems go for Kriti!

Updated: Apr 4, 2023

A qualified psychologist, Kriti Gupta Goel initially worked in high-level recruitment, then took time away from work to look after her twins. After several years of being a stay-at-home mum, she retrained as a clinical hypnotherapist, hoping to launch her own practice.

Kriti took GCDA's Web Design for Business course and has just launched her own website. Not only that, she's already rented space at GCDA-run Kidbrooke Community Hub and has started seeing her clients there. She tells GCDA about her journey.

"I found the training so beneficial that I also enrolled in the Social Media for Beginners course, and I’ve now been able to set up my own Instagram page too."

How did you hear about GCDA?

I live in Kidbrooke Village and I’m a member of the Kidbrooke Community Forum so that’s how I got to know about GCDA. I popped in to find out about renting space in GCDA’s new Kidbrooke Community Hub at Peglar Square and met Gary Mack who was working there that day. Gary teaches GCDA’s web design course and he told me all about it, so I signed up straight away!

How did you find learning with GCDA?

I had absolutely no knowledge about web design, and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to understand it. However Gary made it super simple right from the start and explained the basics in a really clear and straightforward way. He then supported us to use our own creativity to put together websites that were tailored to our own needs. Gary was incredibly patient throughout the course and went above and beyond to help us resolve any issues whilst we built our sites. As a result I was able to launch my website just two weeks after completing the course!

What was the best thing about your course?

My experience with GCDA Learning has been truly amazing. It's because of Gary's expertise that I was able to build my website. I found the training so beneficial that I also enrolled in the Social Media for Business course, and I’ve now been able to set up my own Instagram page too. Gary suggested that I check out rental space at GCDA's Kidbrooke Community Hub near where I live. It means I've now got a place to run my practice from too!

What would you say to other people considering taking a course with GCDA?

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a student, a homemaker or you want to pursue your hobby, GCDA Learning has something for everyone. If you believe in following your dreams, it really doesn’t matter what age or stage you’re at, you can work towards your goals at any point in your life.
