Meet the team! We've got an incredible admin team who are there to answer your questions, help you book on, or just have to have a chat with to work out the right course for you.

We also have an extraordinary team of tutors, both in-house and external who know their subjects inside out. Here at GCDA we pride ourselves on delivering accessible, informative and relevant training, and these are the people who will do just that!
Mel Taylor
Head of Learning
​I've been a trainer with GCDA for over 12 years and now manage the Adult Learning Training contract. I oversee the design and development of the training, and am also responsible for the quality of the sessions through regular tutor observations and skills training sessions.

Georgia Hunt
Head of Training Administration
I have been with GCDA for over 2 years, and work on administration and compliance. My role is to help you get onto the right course and support you on your learning journey.

Sue Pollock
Administrative Support
I am Sue and I have been with GCDA since 2006 mostly in the area of purchasing and supplying fruit and veg to various locations throughout the borough of Greenwich.
​I have been part of the administrative team for over 4 years and work within the adult learning. My role is to assist the team with data entry and phone calls to participants. I also assist with the Fun with Food and Nourishing Nipper folders and equipment.

Andrea Goba
Family Learning Coordinator
I am Andrea Goba, part of the administration team at GCDA. We take enormous pride in providing outstanding support and service to all our clients.
My role includes providing great customer service to all our learnes and coordinating the family learning courses which include Nourishing Nippers, Fun with Food and Managing Challenging Mealtimes.
I am passionate about children and babies eating healthily and getting all the nutrition they need, and also giving the parents/carers the support they need. For more information please email me: andreag@gcda.org.uk
Brian Emmons
Chef Trainer
Brian is a professional chef trainer, and has a broad and rich history of cheffing around the world, covering high-end restaurants and hotels, hospital catering, and running his own pubs. He was also a lecturer for a hotel and catering training. About 10 years ago he wanted to broaden my experience and decided to do more work in the community, working with people with mental and physical disabilities. He has worked with GCDA for 11 years as a cookery club tutor and chef trainer training thousands of happy people!
Gary Mack
Social Media and Web Design
Gary joined GCDA in 2015 and is now our community development and communications lead. Coming from a retail background with 17 years’ experience in high end retail management, Gary has worked with large organisations and small independent family run business supporting them to grow. Managing all aspect of their business from mechanising, promotion, website building, rebranding, social media and customer service, Gary brings this expertise coupled with a lively and interactive approach to his training.
Claire Pritchard, CEO
Claire is GCDA's CEO, a Borough Market Trustee and the Chair of the London Food Board. She brings over 2 decades of experience in food, health and business support to her dynamic, up to the minute training.
​Claire trains many of our courses from business and food business start-up, market research and financial management.
Christina Reynolds
Market Trader Training
With over fifteen years’ experience running food and hospitality businesses, Christina came to work for GCDA in 2018 and has been responsible for the reinvention, curation and running of Royal Arsenal Farmers’ Market since February 2019. Following the success of Royal Arsenal Farmers’ Market Christina set up the Kidbrooke Sunday Brunch Market in summer 2021 and also runs seasonal pop up markets throughout the year at both sites.
Claudia Haworth
Nourishing Nippers
Claudia Haworth is a nutritionist based in London. She has a BSc (hons) in Human Nutrition and an MSc in Nutrition from Kings College London. Her interests are in public health and early years nutrition. She is passionate about infant feeding and has been running our Nourishing Nippers course for 2 years now, adapting and updating as necessary. Claudia is an experienced and excellentr trainer.
Mary Jane Baxter
PR, All Sewn Up
Mary Jane Baxter is a former BBC journalist and the author of three books all about sewing. Her passion for creativity led her to train as a professional milliner and she taught hat making at The Kensington and Chelsea College for two years. Mary Jane joined GCDA four years ago to work on our communications and PR strategy but has since become the curator and manager of our Made in Greenwich shop which sells the work of local artists and makers. Mary Jane has a post-graduate teaching qualification.
Livia La Camera
Nutrition Specialist
Livia, a registered paediatric dietician & self-confessed foodie, has a passion for cooking, eating healthily, supporting people to eat well. She has also worked in public health, and is currently working in community health development, with a remit that includes supporting families with young children to look after their health and well-being. Livia has developed training, course on the introduction of solid foods which she has delivered as part of the Adult Community Learning programme, and now mentors other tutors to deliver.
Livia’s hands-on, informative and fun approach supports learning in a relaxed and accessible way.
