Well now is the time to pull them out of the wardrobe and give them a new lease of life, ‘Alterations and Mending’ a series of sewing classes with women’s wear designer Coral Turner of Coral Turner Couture.
Coral will show you how to rejuvenate your garments using a variety of couture sewing techniques from taking garments apart and refitting to replacing linings, shortening and hemming garments that are too long and designer tips for restyling your garments. Be prepared to stretch your imagination, as you alter your clothing and make anew, in return you will expand your wardrobe as well as your sewing skills.
The ability to use a sewing machine past or present is essential for this class and having completed a GCDA's beginners course.
