Course Description

Canvas Work - The class is suitable for all levels of ability. Resources needed will be sent once you have enrolled on the course. The repetitive, rhythmic, and methodical nature of stitching on canvas acts as a form of meditation, reducing stress, lowering cortisol levels, and decreasing heart rates. It is frequently described as a "calming haze" that allows for a "digital detox" from technology. Class is suitable for beginners, canvas work is an embroidery technique on an open woven base fabric. On the course you will produce a stitch sampler by being introduced to at least 6 canvas stitches.
