Course Description

Come and meet our chef trainer Brian for this course where he will be sharing some tricks of the trade and helpful advice that will be useful to both novice and experienced cooks. Brian will share with you his top tips for selecting, preparing, and cooking your ingredients to get the very best out of them but with an eye on keeping to a budget and reducing food waste. This course is a great stepping stone to our other cooking skills courses so come along and get inspired! We will provide all the ingredients and equipment you need for this course, but you will need to bring an apron and some containers as there may be leftover food for you to take home. Contact us at training@gcda.org.uk if you have any queries. Please also use this email address if the course is fully booked and you would like to be placed on a reserve list. Or, if you can’t attend, you must: · Email or contact the tutor or admin team on Training@gcda.org.uk to let them know you can’t make it. · Still attend at least 70% of the course. Do not book on if you think you cannot attend 70% of the course. · Please give as much notice as possible. · If you don’t show up and don’t get in touch, you will lose your deposit. If leaving a £10 deposit is a barrier because of financial difficulties, please contact training@gcda.org.uk to talk to us about this You must request the return of the deposit.
