Course Description

Spending loads of money on takeaways but just love those delicious flavours? Looking for some healthier alternatives? This interesting and exciting course will get your creative juices flowing and instil the passion and motivation to get you cooking these dishes from scratch. Each week, the group will prepare and cook dishes from a different country, and then you will enjoy a fabulous meal together. A great way to save money and improve your health. By the end of the course, you'll be able to: Identify menus from different countries and ingredients used to make those dishes Demonstrate cooking new recipes from those different countries including increased cooking skills and confidence in the kitchen Demonstrate increased knowledge about healthy eating and how this can be applied to a variety of recipes from around the world Contact us at training@gcda.org.uk if you have any queries. Please also use this email address if the course is fully booked and you would like to be placed on a reserve list.Due to large numbers of people booking onto our courses and not turning up, we are now taking a £10 deposit for each course to help ensure attendance. You will be eligible to get the deposit back if you attend every session. Or, if you can’t attend, you must: · Email or contact the tutor or admin team on Training@gcda.org.uk to let them know you can’t make it. · Still attend at least 70% of the course. Do not book on if you think you cannot attend 70% of the course. · you must give 24 hours notice to be eligible for the refund · If you don’t show up and don’t get in touch, you will lose your deposit. If leaving a £10 deposit is a barrier because of financial difficulties, please contact training@gcda.org.uk to talk to us about this. You must request the return of the deposit within 7 days of the end of the course.
